Official Google Blog: Judge tells DoJ "No" on search queries
Google will not have to hand over any user's search queries to the government. That's what a federal judge ruled today when he decided to drastically limit a subpoena issued to Google by the Department of Justice. (You can read the entire ruling here and the government's original subpoena here.)以前の記事で米政府が検索エンジン各社に検索クエリーのデータを提出するよう求めて、Google が断ったので召喚状を出したというニュースをお伝えしましたが、連邦判事は検索クエリーは認めず、URL も５万に制限する裁定を下したそうです。
所で、URL を提出ってどういう意味なんでしょう？
Google はユーザのプライバシーが守られると言って喜んでいるので、多分、よかったんでしょう。
